if i died,
right now and here.
would you,
of all people my dear,
care enough to shead a tear?
if i died,
in a year or two,
would you my friend,
of all people i know,
care enough to speak for me?
if died,
at a ripe old age,
would my love,
of all i hold dear,
care enough to hold my hand?
if i never died,
here and now,
in a year or two,
when im withered and old,
would you my dear, my love, my friend,
take any notice?
would i plunge into a movie set,
full of dark paint with props here and there.
to forever sit,
practicing my last lines,
preparing for the day when i will lie,
peacful, soundly, never waking.
waiting for a day to come,
but never really expecting it.
knowing it will never really come.
wondring how you are.
and there i pose my question,
would you my dear, my love, my friend,
take any notice?

All things precious...
